A heritage site of the Campos de Cima da Serra
Created in 1975, Tainhas State Park protects one of the most representative landscapes of the Campos de Cima da Serra. Located within the Atlantic Forest Biosphere Reserve, it encompasses native grasslands, araucaria forests, rivers and wetlands that host rich biodiversity.
Beyond its environmental importance, the park preserves old cattle-drover trails, connecting nature, history and conservation in one of the most important natural heritage sites of southern Brazil.
