Trails and Routes

The trails of Parque Estadual do Tainhas invite visitors to explore the diversity of Campos de Cima da Serra. Along the way, native grasslands, araucaria forests, springs, rivers, slopes and rocky outcrops reveal landscapes shaped by water and time over millions of years.

Each environment shelters species adapted to local conditions and helps tell the natural and cultural history of the region, from the rich biodiversity of its ecosystems to the paths once traveled by the cattle drovers (tropeiros) who crossed this territory.
